Murph Workout Radio operates an Internet radio service and offers a similar web platform at MurphWorkoutRadio.com. This plays on a multitude of different phones, tablets, automobiles and other mobile devices. (the "Service"). As used in this policy, "MWR" Or “Murph Workout Radio” refers to Bradley Thomas Design Group, LLC and its subsidiaries. This policy applies to all Murph Workout Radio-authorized operations of the Service. We may refer to MWR as "we", "us", or "our". We may refer to you as "listener", "you", or "your". The reason we want to inform you of this policy is to inform you about the personal information we collect, how we use and share that information. By using our Service, you agree to the terms of this policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this policy. Being the most authentic, quality and best workout music company, we deliver a very high level of security and performance to our users and promise to not act in bad faith.
1. Information We Receive From Users
When you register, we ask you to provide certain information, which includes your email address and password. (the "Registration Data").
When you use the Service, we keep track of your listening activity, which may include the number and title of songs you have listened to, the songs that you tune in to a different station. We do this for licensing and reporting purposes so we can provide accurate reports back to the Performing Rights Organizations (PROs) that we currently have licenses with. The technical specifications to do this may require things like IP address and at the very furthest a city geographical location of what listeners were listening to what songs. This is a direct requirement of our licensing and does not locate individuals to exact address’ or locations. This is used for reporting purposes only. There may be future updates in which users can agree to allow MWR use exact location GPS tracking for users to track a run, bike ride or some other form of tracking. This functionality will only be able to be turned on by the user and as of the current date. 6/10/2020 does not exist in the app currently.
If you choose to participate in the contact MWR via email, we will try to contact you back as soon as possible. The email address you provided as part of the registration process may be used for us to contact you in the future.
If you tune in and use the Service from a mobile phone, automobile, tablet, computer, or other electronic device, we may collect information about those devices. Our servers receive and store information about the browser, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address (as mentioned above), browser type, and other related software or hardware information. If you access the Service utilizing any of the above mentioned items, we may store the type, version, operating system, unique identifiers, MAC addresses, carrier, VIN, or advertising ID. These items are being used internally for troubleshooting problems if someone has an issue for us to create a technical resolution ticket to help us further identify trending technical issues with comprehensive problem solving.
When you register for the Service, we may also collect location information from devices you use while accessing our service. We may geo-locate your device to which city you are currently in to gather information for our licensing reporting however we will not collect your exact device-based location information unless you have permitted the app to access location services on your device. When and If we implement that technology, the user will have the ability to disable this access at any time in your system settings.
We don’t turn on your microphone and listen to you conversations… We’re not facebook… Its that simple.
2. How We Use Information We Receive or Collect
MWR may use your Registration Data and other information or data we receive or collect, as well as data we derive or infer from combinations of the foregoing, for a variety of purposes, such as:
To facilitate your account on the MWR Service.
To provide information on how to improve the MWR Service, and to develop new products and services.
To customize, personalize, and generate the advertising and content we deliver to you both on the Service and on other services MWR offers.
To measure, analyze, and manage service usage and increase the listener experience.
To alert you to when the latest versions and developments of the app are being released as well as potentially some events that you would be interested in.
To invite you to participate in events or special promotions related to artists or products.
To pay performing rights organizations (PROs) artists and rights owners for tracks you hear, by reporting aggregated or deidentified listening information to copyright owners and licensing agencies.
We may send you push notifications from time to time in order to update you about the latest app developments, special fitness / workout music events and special workout music promotions. To ensure you receive proper notifications, we will need to collect certain information about your device such as operating system and user identification information.
We do not sell or give your email address to other companies for their own marketing purposes without your permission. However MWR may use your MWR email address you provided as a unique identifier to your account for troubleshooting and technical support purposes.
We do not sell or give your Contact Information to companies for their own marketing purposes without your permission.
3. Our Policies Concerning Children
MWR prohibits registration by, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 13 years of age. In the event we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information from children under the age of 13, we will take measures to remove such information from our servers.
