Supplements! What are they for?

I know... you all look to us to provide the best workout music known to man... however today we want to take a second to review what supplements are really for... what is their purpose... there are good ones, there are bad ones... as with anything quality does really matter. So here's what you need to know.

Whey Protein - This is a highly absorb-able protein that your body can use to rebuild muscles. It is recommended that you consume enough protein to match your weight (lbs) to number of grams of protein. For example if your weight is 100 lbs... it is recommended that you get in 100g of protein a day if you'd like to see results.

L-Glutemine - This is a substance that allows you to re-build faster... If you want to see results like tomorrow, the next day or next week... this substance will help your muscles rebuild that quickly... trying to hit that next milestone run time? well then this is for you... it's recommended to take in 5G of L-Glutemine to achieve your goals and dreams.

Amino Acids (BCAA's) - Amino Acids or Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) are essential acids to building muscles... so when people say they are essential... what does that mean? well... what it means is that your body on it's own cannot reproduce those acids which means it's essential for you to digest them somehow... you need to get these acids inside your body to see results. The amount depends on what goals you're trying to achieve in your life. It varies greatly depending on the vendor that you take. I prefer to take it in pill form to get around having to consume sucralose which most vendors use in their powders to make them taste better... but it's also a balance... I do use some vendors powders with Sucralose if I'm having a big cardio day and need the extra energy to get in that extra push and beat a friend or something... shhh... don't tell anyone...

Creatine - This helps build larger muscles. It helps promote increased intracellular fluid. When taken as a pre-workout, creatine can help boost anaerobic strength, enabling more total work or volume in a single training session. This is a key factor in long-term muscle growth. This also helps brain function, long term memory...

That's it for right now... I know it's a shorter blog post but we want you to do less reading and more listening to the worlds best fitness music. Who would be if we expected you to read blog posts? We are here to say we are here for you and to help you become all that you can be... but not like one of those cheesy army commercials from the 90's. We legitimately want you to have the best exercise music and life that you possibly can. Having a fit radio station for you to listen to will change your life... the things you hear in the first 15 minutes of your day will ultimately shape the spirit of your day.
